Client Testimonials
Not having a voice. Feeling like a number. Not being taken seriously. Being unheard.
An unimmaginable journey, we remain by her side and are honored to help.
Not having a voice. Feeling like a number. Not being taken seriously. Being unheard. These are the words we hear every single day from injured workers who reach out in desperation, looking for guidance, clarity, or simply someone who will finally listen to them.
And we do listen. We do hear you. We do see you. You are not alone, anymore.
A few years ago, a worker who had been injured more than a decade earlier contacted us. She was exhausted, defeated, and out of hope. An attorney had just told her that her claim was essentially over — no more treatment, no more options, nothing left to fight for. Multiple IMEs (Independent Medical Examinations) and even her own attending physician had declared her at “Maximum Medical Improvement”.
According to “the system”, this was the end of the road. But she didn’t feel “improved.” She didn’t feel “done.” She did feel like a person no one was willing to fight for. She felt neglected, she felt disrespected, she felt like a forgotten claim number in a system that cares little to listen, and less to act.
Because of her injuries and several failed surgeries, she was homebound. We spent hours with her over Zoom, listening to her story, her pain, her fear, and her grief for the life she thought she’d never get back. She said, through tears, “This can’t be it… can it?”
She had lost the use of one leg. She told us her only wish was to dance with her spouse — just once. Not for function. Not for work. But for quality of life.
When L&I says “MMI,” they mean “no further treatment” will improve function. But what about dignity? What about comfort? What about the ability to reclaim even a small piece of the life you lost? We couldn’t look her in the eye — even through a screen — and tell her the same thing everyone else had. So we gave her a voice!
We helped her find a new physician. Someone who listened. Someone who cared. Someone who saw her as a human being, not a closed and forgotten claim.
Her first request for surgery — a partial leg amputation — was denied. She was ready to give up.
But we weren’t. We told her, “We’re not giving up on you. We want them to see you.” So we wrote a letter. A long, detailed, human letter. A letter that made sure her story was heard.
And against every expectation… Against every denial… Against every moment she thought hope was gone…
Her surgery is now scheduled. This is why we do what we do.
You are not a claim number. You are not a file. You are not a burden. You are a person —your story and your life are incredibly important.
We will fight to make sure your voice is heard, loud and clear.

"I would highly recommend the services of On-The-Job Injuries Inc. Their vast knowledge and support is what carried me through this tough and trying process. I'm not sure I would have made it through without them."

"When I was first injured, I realized I would need help with my claim. I contacted Eva Watson, smartest move I made. There are many ins and outs of a work related injury case that people don't realize. I would have been lost without the assistance from On the Job Injuries. Eva is very knowledgeable about the system and has done an amazing job advocating for me in all aspects of my claim. On the Job Injuries has pointed me in the direction I needed to go to get the proper treatment. I don't know many other people out there that would put in this much effort into helping their client, and I am grateful I chose them."

"My claim had closed, and benefits stopped. I had representation that told me there is nothing more that can be done on my claim. I was faced with a nightmare of a situation, but thankfully a friend refered me to On the Job Injuries. Eva and the office staff have been fantastic. Every aspect of my claim they have walked me through, and over the last three years I have not had the stress of dealing with the L&I process. I already recommend Eva and the staff of On the Job Injuries to anyone I know dealing with an L&I claim."
